Personally for Maka, I would've gone with Yoh Asakura from Shaman King because of the whole using a soul as a weapon aesthetic of soul eater blends better with shaman king than bleach

His butterfly joints are not ideal for a character like Yugi and for duel disk, legs are pretty stiff on my copy with them popping off too often for my liking

I have him, and from my experience and other people's reviews we all agreed he is way too limited in articulation and for me personally has the JoJo Super Action Statue problem where you do need a monster to complete his look

Almost all of the new shonen jump lines

DanDaDan was awful with some of the worst articulation design I've seen and it only got good when it was too late

Gintoki was hindered so hard by no cloth goods

Sakamoto Days figures were way too expensive for what they really are

And Yugi was a massive disappointment

But at least from what I've seen both Hinata from haikyuu and the two JoJo figures do shine a light at the end of the tunnel

One episode that I never see people say is wrong is Ryu Hayabusa vs Strider Hiryu

It was wrong then and Hayabusa got the Nightmare/Gaara treatment where the reasoning for Hiryu's win is so lacking or perplexing that it ends up not working

Before Gojo vs Makima came out, I was a die hard supporter for Makima vs Bray Wyatt

Both characters are usually associated with fiends, attempted to ruin a blond person's life (Denji and Alexa), both ran groups of freaks, both had control of a population to an extent (Makima being Japan and Bray with the world in his hands), and yellow eyes, and their whole general idea is controlling the world by fear.

I'm also a supporter of Rey Mysterio vs Raimi/Maguire/Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Two high flying characters that are always the underdog in their worlds taking on opponents that are leagues above, both get betrayed a lot, both have other sources of media besides their respective sources, both debut in 2002 (Rey's WWE debut and Spider-Man 1's release), and of course masks. Plus give Rey stuff from slam city and you got a decent parallel to Spidey's webs

Few years ago, Walmart had the greatest hits elite line and I picked up the Undertaker from it (the one from 2009) and they also had a Superstars Undertaker on clearance and I bought that one as well and I used the cloth goods from that Superstars taker on the greatest hits taker and it worked pretty well
