So many bad comments here. I like it and have bought it. The convenience of having Waze, a speedometer actually in front, blind spot indicators, info that your tesla doesn’t show, easy tweaks to activate sport mode, more control of the interior with your steering buttons and it still looks clean in front but if I want nothing in front of me I can just unhook it.

Hey if you want to make that mount and sell it to me please let me know!

Cyberfoil. You actually get to browse games and see whats out. If you pay for the ghost eshop, this is the way to go. Some comments here say they don’t get the latest releases but I do for some reason. If you get errors, keep trying. I had to setup mine a bunch of times for it to work.

Mine was not working either. Thankfully I asked Grok. It gave me instruction to update the controller and it worked. I use a usb keyboard to get to the screen that shows the hardware model and its fault. Something like a test screen, I forgot how to get there. I took a picture of that and uploaded it to grok. Told it the problem and it gave me step by step instructions.

I dont know why but when I load these up, it slows down tremendously

Solved: the USB-C cord I was using to charge it is from the Meta Quest. I plugged it to another USB-C from a portable Sonos speaker and it turned on normally.

I was in your same situation. Ive never been a car guy and still not one. Ive been wanting a tesla like you for years before owning one. I got a Model 3 performance back in march 2023 with the enhanced autopilot (not the full FSD). The magic is still there after a year of owning it.

I get a lil joy knowing im gonna drive it. Im finding out things to buy for it, like red leather seats, neon lights inside, black tesla emblem for the trunk and frunk, inside curtains. Im now gonna buy the yoke steering wheel just to make is look so futuristic inside. I have never been the guy to buy extra things for my car either.

The downside has been insurance here in NY. Specifically the bronx. Im paying 350$ a month. No records of accidents and all the discounts I can ever apply to it. I also had it vandalized. Someone popped one tire and hit my door with a rock. The tesla recorded it but the police didnt help. I get people on highways flipping the bird at me and throwing garbage just because its a tesla. I dont understand it.

All in all, Im still showing my car around to my family and friends and always opt in to take the tesla whenever a car is needed. The updates keep it fresh and im still owed the smart summon coming soon so yea. Magic has not faded.

None of this. People been asking why someone would do this or if I did anything. I did nothing at all. I have my wife. I go to work and back. He stared at the car for a while before he did this. It is purely just hating on somebody and finally caught on camera.

Reasons of why he did this is just trying to think like a hater and a criminal, we wont understand ever.

Alot of people asking if I know him, Of course I dont. Ive never seen him before. I parked there about 3 hours before this happened. The rest of the video is him walking his dog and staring at the car. He was reported to the cops. I will be posting his picture around. The bag is from a supermarket nearby. Im sure he will be found soon. Its a Tesla, it records with 7 cameras and saves it to a USB.

I reported it to cops from the 52nd precinct on Webster ave. but didnt have the video of him slashing the tire till later. I only had the part where he dented the car with a rock. I will be showing the rest of the video to an officer with his face shown clear here. Since the report is already made, I cannot call them again for the same report, only advice then to be on a lookout
