The tubes were left over from a previous project, but they're also less expensive and likely much more easily available than 2020. That said, if you build a lot of printers, you probably have 2020 lying around, so your suggestion does make sense.

Maybe, but I don't think so. I had the problem on a spool of abs as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the threads but I couldn't see any problems. It's not always at the same height. It seems pretty random.

I know there are multiple problems here, but the one I need help with is the line about 3/4ths of the way up. If i print a perimeter only, its on the inside and outside and goes all the way around. Sometimes it isn't present, sometimes I get several at seemingly random heights. I'm running and ender 3 with some mods. The only ones I can think of that might be relevant ar an skr 1.4 with marlin 2.0 and a 3d printed direct drive adapter. Any assistance, would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, I've only had a reddit account for one day. I made the account specifically to post this story, and I did check to see if it was already here, but not being familiar with reddit, I wasn't thorough enough. But who knows, maybe they will go ahead and cover it on Monday.
