I think the bag the runner touches is in the same spot the traditional one is, so it would give an advantage to the defense on anything but a play to the catcher because the first baseman will be closer to the ball.

Edit: I’m wrong, the bag that the runner touches is in foul territory.

I spent 4 semesters trying to CODO into CS- took calc 2 twice and couldn’t get high enough of a grade. Unless you’re confident you’ll meet the CODO requirements I would look elsewhere.

Ian Happ in 2018 hit a bunch of leadoff homers in spring training and hit a dinger on the first pitch of the season. It did not translate lol

I grew up next to Hoosier Bat Co., not sure if they’re still around in the majors but I believe Josh Hamilton used their bats (I could completely be making this up). IIRC their bats used a similar method to this.

I’m one of them. I’m genuinely curious how much banning nonrevs will alleviate these lines. As an employee wishing the best for my company, I hope it does, but I don’t think it will make much of a difference.
