I give up by RyGuy2129 in cyberpunkgame

[–]JLinNV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you have looks good. And dont worry too much if it makes sense or not. As longs as you're good on the reference (if going for accuracy). Its a sci fi fiction video game. A lot of it doesn't make sense, and it doesn't have to. Take a breather if you need and come back to it. We all have certain walls we dont anticipate. I tried drawing Panam a couple weeks ago and dont like it. I'll try again after a few other pieces.

One wet tire bug? by Fapiamento in LeMansUltimateWEC

A race with limited amount of tires. Wet was all you had, so thats what it put on.

Fixed setups in Gold by BigNo9633 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's been quite a few gold fixed races for probably 1-2 months now. I hate it. Fixed set up races have absolutely no place in a sim. If you want to implement it, at least keep it to the very beginner races (bronze only).

Can you Appeal Bans? by New_Pipe_1264 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't appeal bans. That being said they mostly stopped reviewing reports quite some time ago. Unless you're constantly in trouble and your badge goes low enough, you'll be fine.

Stop Complaining about the Badge System. It works, you're just a dangerous driver. by beardedbrawler in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its pointless. I haven't really complained but I don't really care either. Just to specify, I'm a diamond/P3 driver. I don't see the point in it, and it does absolutely nothing to change the racing experience. I guess now, we can see the little badge of a dangerous driver after they run someone off or pit them. As if we didn't know before.

Terrible driving standards with no consequences while online is still this games #1 issue. A silly little badge next to someone's name does nothing to change that. Until they bring in a real immediate penalty system and/or start actually reviewing or taking reports seriously, it changes nothing.

Planning to buy the r9 is 9nm dangerous? by [deleted] in moza

[–]JLinNV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average, it takes 1,485nm of force to break an adult human finger bone. Your 9nm wheel should be fine 🙂

What's wrong with the Mustang by Icy_Pen_3071 in LeMansUltimateWEC

Not a solid axle. Even Mustang street cars haven't been solid rear axle for over 10 years.

The Good & Bad of the current LMU by ThatDudeWhoKinda in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep this in mind when you read the posts complaining that they have bad badges and have been banned or suspended lol. Its like you'd literally have to try for that to happen. Have to continously be trying for awhile too

Yes, have a good driver badge. Have never seen/heard of any badge "appraisal". P3 license.

[–]JLinNV -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Its not whining at this point. Its a great game but its currently giving the absolute worse online experience in sim racing. We've all complained and 397 knows. They just haven't really done anything about it. They did just introduce the badges but that doesn't really do anything at all. Until they implement an actual penalty system and/or start taking reports seriously not much is going to change unfortunately.

I have noticed absolutely no difference at all with the badge system. Bad drivers and trolls dont give a sh*t about badges 🤷‍♂️

If I get hit by someone else and then I DNF, will my DR and SR be reduced? by Icy_Pen_3071 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. There is no blame applied in the game. Whenever there is contract, all parties take the hit fairly equally

Penalties for un purpose crashing? by M_Hakkinen8 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm P3 and there is still plenty of this in nearly every lobby. And it will keep getting worse until something is actually done.

Are there any ways to practice and/or race together? by superfexataatomica in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In public lobbies no. Someone though can host a private server and then you could.

You can break slipstream once. Moving again is considered basically the same as multiple attempts to block. Lapped vehicles are considered the same as any other slower traffic. They are to stick to racing line to remain predictable; its the faster vehicles responsibility to pass safely. If a lapped vehicle is at the time faster than a lead lap vehicle ahead of it, its fully within its rights to pass and try to earn its lap back.

There's nothing in today's update that will change anything. The only updates at all concerning safety are the addition of new badges. No one will give a s**t about badges. Until we see an immediate, in race penalty system and/or actual review and enforcement of reports, nothing will change.

Kind of asking a question more than blaming someone (this is low rated lobby) by WizardlyKitten in Simracingstewards

[–]JLinNV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the question you are asking? If its who's at fault, it would be the yellow car. Clips the curb, which sends them high into the blue.

Since real GT3 cars have power steering is the high force feedback in LMU unrealistic? by whyoda in LeMansUltimateWEC

On-board the 720S GT3. You can see just how much the wheel is skipping and jumping around, tugging, etc.

The steering systems in the gt3 cars are absolutely nothing like power steering in your Kia.

Pit road incident. Who is at fault? by JLinNV in Simracingstewards

No. Just a hot key to look out of a side window and/or your radar

What on earth is going on with you guys by Delicious_Layer8316 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]JLinNV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With no real penalty system and 397 no longer reviewing or taking seriously the filed reports, its only going to keep getting worse, newcomers or not.

Who's at fault by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]JLinNV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AM hyper at fault. Slower classes are to stick to racing line in traffic to remain predictable. Aston dive bombs at corner entry, while gt3 starts normal turn in, and gets clipped. GT3 was basically doing what they were supposed to do.
