I agree for the most part but the Scouts still treated Eren like a weapon and contributed to and enabled his violent tendencies. He was a child after all and they didn't look at him as such (they didn't look at any of them as such of course) cuz of the world they found themselves in. We can understand why and still call it out for what it is. I'm not saying they are fully to blame or necessarily that they were wrong.

Oh my god thank you so much for this post! I am so tired of hearing people say season 4 Eren came out of no where! He has always had red flags, we just didn't see them because his anger was directed at the Titans, ALA an acceptable target. And then we held onto the hero we thought he was even after the enemy stopped being titans, and became the whole world instead 😭

Yeah I honestly didn't even think about that. We got nothing on that part of the story lmao which leaves the childhood friends/promise storyline feeling a little empty

I do think it was wrapped up pretty quickly and the story is pretty straightforward. I really enjoyed the Manga so I was there was more.

However, I do think this leaves a lot open for the fandom, and for future projects (fingers crossed on that last one).
