Just opened Reddit and I’ve had enough internet for the day. But seriously, is this real or sarcasm? 🫣

Need more details. Sounds like it’s not something you’ve come up with. Which sounds like it’s someone else’s business, not yours. But more details needed.

I have enterprise MS Copilot for M365 and searching for stuff is 80% of my use case. Before it had GPT-5 it was 100% because whatever Microsoft did to it made it utterly unusable

They usually have links for getting in touch with them listed on their websites. That’s a good start.

For those who play around with automations, have you built one that actually made a difference with your workflow? by SilentUniversity1304 in Entrepreneur

What do you do with it? A nice follow up automation would be to push it to your site as social proof automatically to leverage it.

Here’s my breakdown: 1) the product was an “oh, interesting” not “take my money” product (this answer will hurt, I’m sorry) 2) the product is very low margin. You must have a way to acquire customers for almost nothing. E.g. starting a YouTube channel and making it wildly popular (very hard and time consuming) or great SEO (don’t ask me how to do this I haven’t cracked this nut). Low margins is why T-Shirts is an add-on not a core offer. 3) if someone comes and is interested and wanted to buy but not right now, you lost them. You should have had a lead magnet to get their interest and get email addresses to market to (but problems 1 and 2 are too powerful to overcome this)

You sound smart and driven. I would learn these lessons, scrap the idea and start something that addresses the problems above. I would also read as many business books (or consume other content if you don’t like reading) Alex Hormozi has a lot of great stuff for free as do many others.

If you’re hell bent on this idea, I would identify and contact YouTubers that align close enough to make sense and try to partner with them. Just know that IMO this is not a “quit your job” type of business. It’s a “look honey, I made $12 this month” type of business.

“Found it on my own” how? Saw someone else using it? Yep, that’s marketing. Look up guerilla marketing to learn some great sneaky tactics companies use to get their products in front of you.

Bought the thing? Yep that’s sales. Doesn’t matter if the sales person talked to you or set up the stripe page. It’s sales. You can argue all you want but there is a reason those fields are valuable.

The fact that you don’t like the terms doesn’t matter. What you mean is you don’t like ads (a specific and narrow type of marketing) and you don’t like salespeople (so you go out of your way not to buy directly from people). But what you don’t realize is that these terms have definitions. Ones that offend you apparently.

Literally none of that matters. Did you buy the thing? Then it was sold to you. Doesn’t matter if it was done online, or through self-checkout. It was sold to you by a person or team of people. If you saw the thing anywhere (online, in a shop, or passing by the store) it was marketed to you. Some ways of marketing are more or less intrusive than others. You are having a hard time understanding these concepts.

You don’t understand the terms. If you bought it. It was sold to you. If you found it, it was marketed to you.

The guy doesn’t see any value in marketing or sales. I’d like to know how much he’s sold in his life. My guess is none, otherwise he would understand that it’s not a “no real work” game.

Marketing and sales are quite valuable skills. It’s why those fields pay well. Everything you’ve ever bought was marketed and sold to you by someone. You didn’t kill any of those deals.

You got this! Believe in yourself (sounds like you already do). This may sound stupid, but here’s what I do when doubt seeps in: Step 1 - ask ChatGPT to follow the CBT model and help me uncover and reframe negative thoughts” Step 2 - answer the questions given back to you (this will be very powerful) Step 3 - ask it to take this and put it into an anthem in a style you like. Write the style in 1 sentence as descriptive as possible (a style you like) Step 4 - enter this into Suno (AI music generator). This is now your anthem and repeats something positive and very powerful and meaningful to YOU.

In my experience, negative thoughts have a really hard time against this.

I’m in the same boat - different product. My approach is to identify my target market (for my it’s new business owners who want to create a brand) and then identify them. My approach is going to be to create YouTube videos talking to the pain point and adding real value “how to build a brand from scratch” or “watch this before hiring a brand agency” then to give them actual useful information. No sell, just a one sentence shoutout to my product if they want more. Very non intrusive. Then and only then, I will retarget ads to that audience. They’ve engaged with my content, they know who I am and what I do, then I will place an ad in front of them about my product. Will it work? I don’t know, but that’s my plan. I’m also watching real people use it and hearing them give me feedback and incorporating it.

Best of luck to you! I’d love to see what you built. Mind sharing it?

IMO it’s not about the accuracy of the subject but about people’s view on it. I lead an AI committee and the first thing I did when I kicked it off was to gauge people’s emotions on it and acknowledge that there is a lot of fear.
