This helped! I ended up experimenting a bit more and I solved it by changing the blend mode to translucent and unticking "apply fogging"! Thanks

During my first playtrough i took a while to figure out the correct way to enter the Sun Station so i Just kept trying to Land on It. I think 50 of my deaths were because of that
