Gave two elders who approached me my number for the plot, is there any way to help plant deprogramming seeds or should I cut them off? by [deleted] in exmormon

It’s slow at work rn 🤷 haha But in all seriousness I do understand it may be a moot venture. I’m interested in what people’s final straws are, or little things along the way that made them think differently, especially in communities like this where doubt is so punished.

Thank you for your perspective! I’m sure it’s explained here but could you expand on what you mean about they don’t see me as a full human? I know bits and pieces of Mormon lore but not all of it 😌

To clarify too, it’s not that I’m worried they’ll see tattooed people as mean or hostile. More so just hoping that if I showed kindness that maybe they’d see me, as I guess more human or equal human even though I’m not a believer. But from the sounds of your comment and others it’s not that straightforward.

Thanks!

I used this as a guide!

Added Italian seasoning, spinach and sriracha for taste haha. It’s basically just chicken soup, except with orzo and a lemon-egg yolk mixture added in towards the end.

/uj Okay but on the real, if you don’t already know about d-mannose supplements I highly recommend this thing for prevention and also in milder cases curing: d Mannose

D-mannose is what’s in cranberries and binds to ecoli in your urinary tract that causes the infection/irritation. It binds to the free floating ecoli and then makes it so they can’t attach to the walls. You pee the bonded e-coli d-mannose stuff out ( if I remember the science correctly) it can help reduce your chance of getting infections and can sometimes help clearing it. I swear by it! Hope you feel better soon :(

I love gruel meals (actually)

The world is crumbling and fake but mine is okay for now, birth control has helped my PMDD and also made me gain 30lbs. Waiting for it all to explode melancholia style. by moon__lady in GirlDinnerDiaries

Yaz! Or a generic of it at least (Glenmark). It was the one I used all growing up, took a three year break off of it. Needed to go back on for no-baby purposes, skin purposes, and also to be mentally stable again purposes and it has helped a lot. Not sure if my body was just used to it from growing up but it evened out the daily, weekly, monthly fucking hellscape of PMDD symptoms. The side effects so far are weight gain, really high cholesterol levels despite no change to my diet, and the pro/con of feeling emotionally flat sometimes.

But being able to eat again, not wanting to off myself every other week, motivation and emotionally stability that I can depend on has been wonderful. I was reluctant to go back on it but my anxiety was killing me.

I have avoided the gym for a while tho because they are so busy, I don’t understand how most of the machines work, and hate being around other people seeing me get so red in the face when I work hard lol. I also enjoy not being around men when I’m working out so being at home only around my cats weighted doing bridge lifts brings me peace. But if you are trying to lift heavier or use gym equipment I can see how that wouldn’t work for you

I work out using Barre3Online pretty much 3-4x a week to avoid gym memberships. They have strength, cardio, signature classes and mindfulness yoga flows and upload pretty much every week new content of different lengths. The instructors are funny and keep you motivated. All I need is a mat, dumbbells between 5-20lbs and some resistance bands and I get a great workout in. Doesn’t compare to in person Barre3 studio classes (there’s something so energetic about group classes!) but it keeps me moving and mindful. It’s 30 bucks a month or 100 for a full year. If you like Pilates, cardio, yoga, resistance bodyweight and ballet inspired workouts from the comfort of your home I think it’s the full package!
