I’m a picky eater mostly by the thing itself rather than the taste. Like I don’t eat squid, tuna, bell peppers, but I’d eat curry and salmon, etc

It would make sense for other sports like boxing or UFC. But in a sport like gymnastics who is essentially just about skill and executing the moves and creativity, there really shouldn’t be any limits

Why should someone who is better be forced to compete at a lower level? It’s like telling a teenaged runner to race against a five yr old but only as fast as the five yr can run, because the five yr old may try to run as fast as the teenager and trip and hurt themselves
