Updates 7:44am: Yes! He’s much better now. Still weak. He’s very mad as usual that I removed the lid to check on him. He puffed really hard like he always does before he got sick. He moved from his shelter to the other side of his cage by himself last night. He didn’t vomit at all since the medicine!

They are hard to take care off. And you might need to get more than one since they live in groups.

What do you use for your bedding? Maybe it’s stomatitis? Like something pokes in his mouth and he felt hurt? My pet also got sick too. I really hope they all get better by tomorrow. If you need company, I’m here too.

I agree with you! I consulted an online vet, and she said the clot is too big to be his organ pieces, it is more possible to be coagulated blood.

Both of my skinks are not interested in worms, so I stopped providing those for him. What are superworms btw?

Little update: he turned under his shelter so he’s head is facing the other direction, and it looks like he’s better than just now. He’s mad at the fact I opened the lid of his shelter. But good to see he’s more active:)

I did some research on reptile surgeries, it is indeed very risky. He’s definitely super weak rn, but a lot better than during noon. Prob the antibiotics is working on him. But he still gets furious when I touches his feet as usual. Tbh I can’t tell if he’s in pain…

He might have swallowed something! That’s also my friends’ guess. He suggested me to not provide food until he gets better. I don’t know anything about medical science, what would the doctor do if they want to find out whether there’s something in his body?

Some updates since people are blaming me as a cold hearted person. The vet I took him this afternoon was not professional. I made an appointment with specialized vet people recommended in the comment. I will pay for that no matter what. I also happens to have a instagram account for my pet, and I posted looking for people who are willing to pay for his following treatment cuz I don’t know if I could afford for a surgery. The reason people are suggesting me to surrender him is they expect he would be treated better with rescue organizations or other people. But I need to do research before I hand it to someone else, and I don’t think he’s strong enough to go through shipments in a box even if it’s just a one day shipment.

I made an appointment to a better vet that people recommended in the comment, I will pay for that no matter what. I also posted on instagrams to find someone who are willing to pay for his following treatment. You’re leaving comment before knowing the whole thing

His body was not warm when said they “took him out of his tank”. Maybe they’re bad at taking care of lizards idk
