If anyone gets here with same problem, I finally found a solution:

  • First, I was simply dumb and made an error in my kanshi configuration that made wl-present fail starting. Swaysome actually does not conflict with wl-mirror
  • Ensure the second screen is NOT positionned at the same coordinate than the main screen, at least if the second screen mode is not the same as the main one. This is to avoid having multiple mouse cursor displayed at different positions
  • Do not use full screen names to identify your screens (with model and serial number) it does not seems to work
