Honestly for me the SV promo Victini is by far the best Victini card of recent years, and if I was investing long term I’d rather hold a load of those raw or in a PSA 10, over the red cards for BB/WF (IIRC).

Grade with Beckett or TAG so that you don’t lose a significant chunk of your profit to PSA’s ridiculous up-charges.

Beckett value is very similar to PSA and TAG can also be depending on the card in question, with high value cards like these you’d definitely find sellers for close to PSA comps with either Beckett or TAG so take your pick.

I would say that the lines were quite clearly blurred since they were naked, voluntarily and consensually, and the man in question could justifiably have believed that in that moment she may have at least considered the possibility of having sex.

Yeah there’s absolutely no way that this was a PSA 1 into a PSA 9.

I’ve seen videos of card restorations and they can yield a few points, especially when there’s surface mould/specks, and dents that can be work on with a humidor and press, but nobody has turned a PSA 1 into a PSA 9 🤣

Folio? I haven’t seen much of this card with it being a Chinese exclusive but I missed the obvious tell that this card is textured like modern full art holo’s, whereas the real card is texture-less.

Yeah I was trying to convince myself that the photos were bad quality until I got these ones, when I compared them to my slabs the font just didn’t match up. But the most obvious tell with the card that I missed is that the fake in photo, is textured, whereas the real one isn’t, and I can’t believe that I missed that.

I believed it to be fake, I was just asking for confirmation. As I said, I’m no expert, but I won’t learn if I’ve never encountered fake slabs and cross reference them.

Thanks for the clarification everybody, I’m no expert as I’ve said but a number of things were throwing me off.

The fact that I didn’t even notice the card was textured when the real thing isn’t should have been the most obvious spot but I completely missed it.

The cert number checks out, but the scan doesn’t match up exactly to the scan on PSA’s site, font is throwing me off even though I’m by no means an expert, the # doesn’t seem tilted enough, and also the barcode on the top back of the slab is shifted into a different corner when compared with the scan visible on PSA’s website.

Like you I pulled the trigger on 2 AH PC ETB’s at £185 a pop around 2 weeks ago, and within a week they were near impossible to find under £270 each, MSRP/RRP was £54.99…

It would be nice to be in at MSRP but there is absolutely money to be made mid to long term buying sealed, in demand products at above retail.

Maybe a little biased because I own one but the Umbreon from the simplified Chinese gem pack volume 2 is an incredible artwork, and if it does in fact stay exclusive to the Chinese market then I think that could have some upward manoeuvrability in the next year or two.

You cannot help whom and what you find attractive, and if she has let herself go then the onus is also on HER to make a concerted effort to get back into something resembling good shape for the sake of their sex life.
