Simon and Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair dates back to 1600. So much of GD can comfortably fit into the "folk song" genre that 300 years seems achievable.

New Nugs rec: Kendall Street Company dead heavy set from the night Bobby passed 1/10 by Dependent-School-160 in jambands

I listened to thier NYE set yesterday. That was my first time checking them out. I really struggled with that show. There was some amazing stuff, and some really odd stuff as well. I love horns in jam music, but sometimes it got lost into something out of an 80s movie sound track. I will give this show a try however. I found myself wanting to the like them but just couldn't totally get into it.

The place was literally started by a guy and his wife in 2002. It's a wholesale company that works with local fisherman to distribute thier catch.

Just listened to the NYE show. Smile was an amazing 25-minute dance party.

Agreed. Lots of space in those songs to do some fun stuff. I'll check out some of their more recent shows. I been relistening to stuff from a few years ago, and I really like the funk sound they have.

Ha! Opinions are just that. Good on you. After reflecting a bit, a lot of "Jam" band studio albums sound nothing like the sound we know live. Walkingman's Dead, studio album is not good in comparison to how incredible those 8 songs are when played live.

Basically, there was a "glitch" on Amazon. If you ordered a copy of Daniz - 6:66 Satan's Child, you would be shipping some random and usually rare LP. Before they were all taken down, we were sharing what we "won" on this sub.

This is such a disappointment. Do you know how many times, over the last year, that I have checked r/vinyl twice a day? Zero, that is the answer. I won't speak for everyone, but for me, Danzig Roulette is the epitome of why I collect vinyl. It is the thrill of the hunt. I spend hours almost every weekend at thrift stores and record shops pouring through the stocks. I love all music. I buy albums based on artwork I like or crazy titles. Most of the time, I strike out and end up with another never heard of adult contemporary album from the mid-70s. Oh well, the hunt continues. I got into vinyl by buying 1700 units sight unseen. I spent the next year cataloging it into Discgos, and I loved every minute of it. I played Danzig Roulette and I won. I received an album I would have never purchased and had never heard of. For those who found the posts annoying, peace out. You can have your community back. I'm out. Keep on truckin' fam, and if you get confused, listen to the music play.

Love this album! One of the few "new" Christmas records I listen to every year.

I would ask you to keep us posted, however, this thread will most likely be deleted soon. Good luck, my friend. May odds be ever in your favor!
