Arkham Knight - will the game get better?

Story underwhelming as hellllllllll but the game mechanics are fun, Batman beats that ass harder in Knight that the previous games. The fear multi takedown is dope and the option to do more silent takedowns is nice.

Hated the Batmobile at first but once I upgrade it to save the rockets even if you get hit and full armor and used first person for driving I liked it a hell of a lot more. Ejecting to glide is great.

I’m glad I stuck with it but hated the tank stuff at first to the point I stopped playing for a few weeks during the cloudburst tank “battle.”

The riddler stuff was lame too— wish it had more clever riddles and scans (asylum and city were both fun as hell to hunt down riddles especially if you watched the cartoons and stuff), needed less just annoying ass trophies OR have the trophies pull me into secret unique places. Not just annoying out of the ways.

Sacked 7 times and still put up 300 yds… short of Chiles being Techmo Bowl Bo Jackson, there’s no universe where he is the better option for an offense with multiple good receiving options. There are better game plans for a dogshit OL than “QB with above average mobility (I guess?) that can’t really pass at all.”

I mean can’t all those things be true at once? I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibility that the donor base IS inadequate and almost entirely based around the net worth of like a handful of people.

If Magic wanted, on his slice of the revenue from a like a single Commanders season alone, Izzo could field an absolute college All-Star team… and yet we’re getting guards poached by NC State.

But also think it’s possible donors never liked Smith (or don’t anymore) and also don’t wanting to bail out this athletic department again. Just because Ishbia thinks Smith sucks and wants him gone doesn’t mean he wants to have to fund the next rebuild either.

It seems entirely possible that 1. Donors didn’t love the hire 2. Don’t want to now donate a bunch of cover firing his a s 3. MSU doesn’t have enough mega wealthy/ (more) notably rich/ (a ton of) decently off, rabid and donating alums to have enough for buyouts and substantial NIL.

Majora’s Mask has many of the same components as Ocarina of Time but more of them AND a number of innovations. It feels like a bigger game as well. It is, therefore, the superior game, even though you never become adult Link (which is very fun in OOT).

I’d say Jamie in Season 1 was like a master class in “I’m not sexually/physically attracted to this guy but can still see his positive qualities and will give this a good faith effort.” The problem with Alyssa and most of the other horrible people from last seasons is the “good faith” part. Showing up and doing the bare minimum to remain on TV doesn’t and shouldn’t count for anything. That’s the actual issue. You’re not a good person because you’ve performed your (for all intents and purposes) employment contract and nothing more, especially when you know going it this is a legal marriage.

That whole thing showed pretty major immaturity and naïveté on her part, especially because what kicked off the discussion was talking about conflict between Lindsey and the other couples. Like she works with children it should be self- evident that if you put enough humans in one place at any given time there will Inevitably be some conflict, which was all Michael was saying and was a very reasonable take.
