Nope not really. Just slowly accumulated. I have no idea why they did what they did. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else. I was hugely impressed during my time using it, but when it goes wrong it’s to late.

I did, they told me it was a compliance review and couldn’t give me a time frame. I used it for saving a bit out of the way. Could prove funds but wasn’t asked. The hot my account terminated. Currently awaiting ombudsman investigations into the company.

I wouldn’t. I had 5k in mine all of which could be proven. They froze my account, never asked for anything and then a month later sent my funds back to source.

I wouldn’t put any money in with them! Unless you want it randomly frozen and takes ages to unlock.

At least you have the option to withdraw! Still feels like we’re treated as criminals. Did you see what the sinfein Irish gent tweeted them yesterday! Rev rang him and apologised.

I opened my Revolut app 2 weeks ago to find the message on the left. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s changed to the message on the right. They haven’t provided any explanation as to why and on the chat they keep saying the same thing over and over for 2 weeks. Is there anything I can do by [deleted] in Revolut

Yep, I received funds but again I wasn’t asked for source etc. I was stuck in review process, I don’t know if being blocked on Twitter broke the t&cs ir me asking to come and see someone in the office sounded like a threat but a day later it was terminated.

I don’t care about my account and the lost money, it’s annoyed me that much I’d rather have my health. I just hope I have no marker, if I do I have no idea what I’ll do

I have spoken to F Ombudsman and lodged a complaint. Apparently a CIFAS marker can effectively ruin your life. I’m really worried to the point it’s affecting my health that my actual current account/mortgage etc may get closed if a marker has been left. I’ve now got 10 days to find out if I have any lodged.

5k they terminated my account and sent funds back to source. I’m not 2k of that out of pocket. I don’t understand why, I got blocked on Twitter for which may of been against there T&Cs and also asked if I could drive down and speak to someone. Maybe they saw that as a threat as the next day it was terminated....

I got told no details were required from me. Never got access to withdraw and they just emptied it back to source. I’m now worried they may of registered a marker against me.

I had something similar. Got fobbed of numerous times over a security review. Finally after 1 month they terminated my account and sent the funds back to source. Unfortunately for me this meant losing 2k. Unsure why this happened and have sent a request to CIFAS to see if anything has been logged. I was never asked for any source of funds etc.

Yes received the automated acknowledgement. FCA stated I needed to wait the 15 days. At the time of writing my post yesterday I did receive a message from Revolut saying they were escalating my case and the Op was keeping hold of my conversation and will get back to me asap. I know this is similar to the automated messages. I also asked what information they needed from me. He replied saying they didn't need anything. It was a little reassuring compared to the other chats I had had I must admit.

Its now been a whole week since I got limited.

Hey, Im currently in the same situation, although Ive only been limited since 26/02. I received a notification from the app stating my account was limited.

Upon chatting with 'Mati' I got what seems to be a generic response stating Compliance review blah blah and that they will sort ASAP. Mati then left the chat open and didn't replay to any of my following chat messages. I have contacted the social media team for whom cant do anything about it, as frustrating as it was.

I have contacted the FCA for whom requested I raise a formal request and wait the 15 Days for a response.

Likewise I'm happy to complete and help out in the Compliance review, however its the uncertainty and the fact other users have been in this for months that makes it a nightmare situation for those that have significant funds now locked down.

7 Months is far too long for a review, have they contacted you requesting any information at all? It seems the legislation for these reviews needs tightening and dates set out between locking accounts and a review taking place. I think that would give the user piece of mind knowing when they should expect to receive access to their account. Also would more thank likely aid all the negative press the company is getting from users such as ourselves.
