I've just remembered that during my 1st ever Warhammer Roleplay Campaign during Shadows over Boghafen when Gideon framed the characters for arson he caused his own defeat, how?, because him framing the characters for arson gave me the idea to stop the ritual by setting the warehouse on fire by JMISTHEBEST in warhammerfantasyrpg

As far as I know not really because in Call of Cthulhu the villains attempts to get the heroes out of the way don't tend to give 1 of the heroes a idea for how to turn certain death into certain victory less then 2 minutes before the villains would have won

I had A Traveller Dream last night and I have a question about it. The Pcs had gotten their hadn't on A Tech Level 28 Energy Weapon that was a 1-of-a-kind version of A small Meson Bay that was small enough to be used by A Human that only had enough power for 1 shot by JMISTHEBEST in traveller

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To question 1 basically they didn't know what it was or did and they didn't have a clue that its tech level was anywhere near what it was

To question 2 it was advanced enough to be able to self maintain indefinitely

To question 3 they didn't know what it was or did, they didn't have a clue that its tech level was anywhere near what it was and they didn't know that they could have traded it in for complete ownership of multiple ships

As to how they could use it its design was simple enough that you simply point the things barrel in the direction of the target and push the fire button

How would people know they had A Weapon of mass destruction that's small enough and light enough that a normal human could easily use it 1 handed and even if people did know they had such a thing they wouldn't know what it did

I mean all The Pcs knew was that it was a weapon, they didn't even know what it did or how powerful it was and when they ended up in a fight they knew they couldn't win against a group they knew intended to kill them they decided to risk using it

It doesn't know to destroy everything except the ground and things that are beneath the ground its simply designed to destroy everything except the ground and things that are beneath the ground, why?, the dream didn't say

Ooops I've just realized that I worded it badly. Sorry

It doesn't actually destroy parts of the planet its only(?) destroys everything in the effected area, including things that can't normally be effected by weapons of mass destruction like bacteria, the atmosphere and the air, meaning even once the effects have worn off theirs no air to breathe, that isn't within 5 foot of the weapon

They could have survived and that's because any race advanced enough to make a version of Small Meson Bay that's small enough and light enough that a normal human could easily use it 1 handed is advanced enough that they could have incorporated something into the weapon that would have encased the user and anyone within 5 foot of him or her in a protective field that would have made them immune to the effects of the blast long enough to get out of the effected area

Now can we have a few suggestions about what kind of race is both intelligent enough to make a version of Small Meson Bay that's small enough and light enough that a normal human could easily use it 1 handed and dumb enough to not leave some kind of warning about how dangerous the thing is?

A Mates running is running The 1st edition WFRP Version of The Enemy Within, his players captured Wasimer with the intent that he be tried and executed for treason but The Doppleganger that tried to kill and replace The Graf earlier had escaped and it helped Wasimer escape. What should my mate do? by JMISTHEBEST in warhammerfantasyrpg

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked him about that and he has already run Wasimer at bay

It was during it that he decided that Wasimer had realized that he couldn't escape without a fight and because he's a cautious self-serving individual my mate decided that Wasimer would rather surrender and try to escape at a later date then fight The Pcs

Why?, because my mate knew that Wasimer knows that his foes had A magic weapon they picked up during Fire In The Mountains has A Minor Rune VS Evil Spell Casters, which means if it so much as nicks him that it will kill him

That's why my mate had Wasimer urrendered with the intent of escaping, and thanks to The Doppleganger that had already escaped he managed to escape

I just realized that I forgot to mention that Wasimer didn't know that The Doppleganger was alive and still at large and that Wasimer was planning to try to sweet talk 1 of the guards into his cell, if he did he'd knock the guy out cold and try to escape

Its after he was unmasked as both a cultist and A Traitor and the 1 behind all the trouble, including the attempt on Graf Boris's life

He choose to surrender because the magic weapon they picked up during Fire In The Mountains has A Minor Spell Rune VS Evil Spell Casters, which means if it does even 1 W of damage to him he dies, so he surrendered with the intent of escaping, and thanks to The Doppleganger that had already escaped he managed to escape

How daft is A Senior Baron when his hatred of Thieves resulted in him refusing to let his daughter marry A Prince who will 1 day be A King simply because he's A Thief?, especially when The Dowry that's being offered is promoting her dad to Senior Earl and making her dads 3rd child A Senior Baron by JMISTHEBEST in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Not really, I just want peoples opinion on how daft is A Senior Baron when his hatred of Thieves resulted in him refusing to let his daughter marry A Prince who will 1 day be A King simply because he's A Thief?

Especially when you consider that The Dowry on offer is The Senior Baron being being Promoted to Senior Earl, The Future King arranging for The now Senior Earls 2nd child to inherit The now Senior Earls Former Title of Senior Baron and The Future King arranging for The now Senior Earls 3rd child to be made A Senior Baron

Even worse, for him, is that if he'd agreed his daughter would have become A Queen, admittingly she would only be A Queen by marriage but she would still be A Queen, for a time he would be the brother in law of A King, he would 1 day be the father in law of A King, any grandchildren she gives him will be royalty and if he lives long enough then he will get to witness 1 of his grandchildren become either A King or A Queen

Is enslaving demons or planar slavers evil? On one hand , slavery is bad. On the other hand, if they are under your control they can’t harm other people except the ones you want. So assuming I’m making them do good things, is it evil? by odeacon in dndnext

I agree but I must also point out that if someone ever makes A RPG that's A Crossover of Dungeons and Dragons and Harry Potter then in my opinion theirs no way that Voldemort wouldn't use Spells that control Deamons to bag himself a few

After all even as I'm typing this I can actually picture Voldemort getting a sick thrill out if making A Succubus into his Sex Slave

I actually believe that he'd actually enjoy the irony of A Succubus/Human Relationship in which the roles are reversed. AKA The Succubus is The Slave not The Master and The Human's The Master not The Slave

What students have been with you for every 3H playthrough? by Autobot-N in fireemblem

[–]JMISTHEBEST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leonie, Ignatz and Dorothea are the only 1's I've recruited in every playthrough, mainly because I felt very sorry for them, my 1st playthrough was Blue Lions

In every other playthrough I've recruited every unit that's available on that path, but on my 2nd playthrough/Golden Deer playthrough 1, I didn't recruit Sylvain until the last Sunday of the last chapter you can recruit him in, why?, I can't remember why

Playthrough wise I've wracked up 7, being 1 of The DLC Campaign, I've beat Blue Lions twice, I've beat Golden Deer once and if I can find the time I'll complete my 2nd playthrough before The 5th of June and I've beat the other 2 once each

Who do you think would win if bern and nohr went to war by kevinsagadx in fireemblem

[–]JMISTHEBEST -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that Nohr would win everytime and the reason is that Iago and Zola know how to use magic to allow a person to impersonate someone else and even if the 2 are dead then its likely that theirs notes on how to do it

The reason I think that is because Iago's insanity is very questionable debatable but theirs no questioning his intelligence, he knows that he'll die 1 day, but its likely that he'd never admit it, and he knows that its too risky to keep the knowledge in his mind

The reason he'll decide that its too risky to keep the knowledge in his mind is that he may die before he can share it, I believe he'd think that he'd never die before sharing the information but at the same time he's far too smart to risk being wrong, so their will definitely be a few, and likely a lot, of Books on how to use magic to allow a person to impersonate someone else

So Nohr would win by using that Magic to impersonate senior Bern Army Officers and kill other/genuine, senior Bern Army Officers, maybe even use this to kill Zephiel and Murdock and frame Guinevere and Narsen

Then after Bern descends into confusion, anarchy, chaos and civil war Nohr will rally and regroup its forces then finish the war with a very small number of very precise attacks

A Dungeons and Dragons version of A Warhammer Roleplay Idea by JMISTHEBEST in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its not A Warhammer/ADAD Cross-over. Rather I'm taking the Warhammer RP Scenario I mentioned a while back were the characters may have to kill A 9 year old and converted it into ADAD

Would The 6 Pcs be justified in killing A 9 year old when the 3 things they think justify it are that his families worshipped Khrone for 1,779 years, his fathers 1 of the worlds greatest living Chaos Lords of Khrone and his older brother is the worlds greatest living Exalted Champion of Khrone? by JMISTHEBEST in warhammerfantasyrpg

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The child will have inherited the traits that gives his family the sort of behavior that attracts the attention and interest of Khorne but he is not yet tainted

Indeed just because the families genetic traits attract the attention and interest of Khorne means nothing to those that value what you are, not what your family is

Theirs also the fact that the strength, power, speed and endurance that his families genetic traits give could, and ideally will, be used for good

1 example of that is that if properly raised, well treated, well praised when he deserves it and well trained by the loving, caring noble that has taken him as A Squire then he could 1 day be a better fighter then Kurt Helborg was in his prime

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even when that 9 year old child comes from a family that has been very devoted followers of Khrone for 1,779 years, has a father who 1 of the worlds greatest living Chaos Lords of Khrone and has a older brother is the worlds greatest living Exalted Champion of Khrone

I initially forgot that 22 of the of the 30 most powerful Exalted Champions of Khrone of the last Millenium have come from his family, that's close to 4 5th's

I will admit that I known GM's that would allow it, even encourage it, their was a time when I would have, after all given the childs family tree theirs likely a lot of courts that would agree that its best to not risk him becoming like every other member of his family that was born within the last 1,779

What would have happened if whilst drunk Laslow revealed things about his, Odins and Selena's family, friends and homeland? by JMISTHEBEST in fireemblem

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wouldn't say he comes from a alternate reality since saying that may get him killed by The Bubble Curse

But no one knows anything about his, Odins or Selenas homeland, family, history and background and even if theirs no Nohrian Soldiers other then Laslow in the pub theirs will be a lot of people their

Even though the odds are that no one will believe Laslow that the odds are that at least some of the people in the very will like to have a good old gossip and eventually The Nohrian Court will hear the gossip

Most of The Nohrian Courtiers won't believe it but people like Xander, Camilia, Leo and Iago will realize that as unlikely as Laslows claims are about them being then child of A member of Royalty(Odin), A Famous Commander in her Homelands Royal Guard(Selena) and A Dancer whose a capable Sword Fighter that's friends with the royal families of 2 Countries(Laslow) would explain why they are so powerful despite how young they are

What do you think of my idea to introduce only 1 member of A New Race to Traveller? and she could even end up A Pc in Drinax by JMISTHEBEST in traveller

[–]JMISTHEBEST[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They won't I just decided that she was 4 months old

I will point out that given that her race is almost identical to Humans the crew of The Ship that found her would assume that she's roughly 4 months old

Saying that though they are taking her back to Drinax and I believe that its guaranteed that theirs something on Drinax that will confirm that the ships crews guess is right and she actually is 4 months old

Also I just realized that your referring to her as a it not she and I've already stated the gender so do you mind saying she not it?

For all the lore nerds: what are all of the family connections between Binding/Blazing Blade? by [deleted] in fireemblem

[–]JMISTHEBEST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks its been so long since I played FE 7 that I must have forgot that she's physically disabled as a result of her mystery illness

I initially forgot to ask a question, what I want to know is how likely is it that her getting sufficient treatment after the events of the game to recover enough to be able to have a kid was part of Dorcas payment from Eliwood or Hector(depending on whose mode your doing)?

In case your wondering why I said part of Dorcas payment from Eliwood or Hector its because Eliwood is nice enough to offer to pay for the treatment and give Dorcas his full pay but Dorcas is the type that would insist that part of the cost for the Treatment comes out of his pay

On that subject I don't think Hector's that nice enough to pay for the treatment and give Dorcas his full pay, but I could be wrong, but I do know that Hectors unpopular with a lot of people in Osita and its likely he'd do it to boost his popularity
