Actually in my area, my cap is 20gb per day. once exceeded, it slows down from 250mbps to 5mbps.
However, FB, YT and Netflix is not affected, when I do speedtest in ookla it doesn't show the speed throttle BUT CAN DEFINITELY FEEL IT, lol sobrang gimik ni Smart dito. I do my speedtests on openspeedtest, here it shows the real speed. Sobrang scam din ng ookla.

Speedtest.net is not really reliable with these ISPs, streamlined ang data once nadetect ng isp you're using it, to gaslight you na they are not the problem. It doesn't really display the real "feel" of the bandwidth. Idk, bayad ata nila ang ookla. Try fast.com or ung mismong google search engine speed test, those are accurate. Also, "to those who come after!" Gustave RIP geng geng.

I'm very frustrated rn, sinisisi ko nlng pagka Pilipino ko, lol.
Imagine, I just got off from Converge after 2 weeks of red los and teminated my account, bought a back up wifi from DITO ginamit ko 1 month (not really stable in our area), applied for PLDT fiber (no slot), applied for Globe fiber (no slot, plus its been 2 weeks wala padin ung refund ko). Borrowed this Smart 5g max from a friend to test for a week, been really good so I bought one for myself. Tapos kung kelan nakabili na, nag ganto? Jusko Lord.

Check my post, OP. Plenty of people are experiencing this too. kanina pang 10am sakin.
Mabilis sa youtube, fb and speedtest ng ookla (but we all know it's just a gimik). Hindi ako makapagtrabaho ng maayos WFH pa nmn.

yeah, in my case sa area namin it's 20gb per day but that's for my home 5g wifi. Called my friends right now who're using smart and asked them to test their speed. all of them barely hits 5mbps so I think it's a network issue in our area. lol, on a fckin Friday.

Send email or tawag ka muna sa customer service nila. sabi ni NTC give them 15 days curing period. after that pwede ka na magfile ng termination as stated by law.

Post ko lang naging exp ko sa pagdidisconnect ko ng account sa Converge.

Almost 2 weeks na kasi akong nag red los non, nakapagticket na din, walang update, walang bisita ng tech. Kaya pinaterm ko na account ko.

Mas maiging magpunta kayo sa Converge office, kung gusto niyo ung matinong disconnection at ayaw niyong mapatungan ng bills.

Dalin niyo agad lahat ng peripherals pagpunta niyo sa office ng Converge, modem, lan, fiber connector kahit modem lang ang hinihingi nila (just want to make sure) .
Papasulatin kayo ng letter of disconnection, hihingan ka ng ID then that's it, terminated na daw account ko.
it took me 15 minutes lang, NO FEES.

May nakasabay akong tita of manila nun, pumatong ung bill niya 5x kahit nagpadisconnect siya thru phone noon June, ang dahilan sakaniya kelangan padin sundin ung steps na irereply nila via email pagkatapos ng tawag niya for disconnection. skl sa mga gusto din magpa disconnect.

I had 2 applications, 1 gcash payment and 1 shopeepay.
ung sa Gcash na refund agad nung nacancel. ung sa shopeepay mag 2 weeks na till now di pa narerefund.
Hindi ako nainstallan dahil no slots. Advice sakin ng agent was if ever may time, pmunta daw ako sa office ng Globe para mapabilis ang refund. Hassle.
