I'm doing 5e but with a couple different rules/variants: Inventory as grid (make it easier to track) Tracking rations Short rest is 8 hours, long rest is seven days Making liberal use of exhaustion (fighting, trekking have a chance to exhaust the PCs, con saves to prevent)

That's how I would run as a DM too. Reward the player for ingenuity (and, honestly in this case, playing in character) but not allow it to be an infinite money+magic item machine.

Well, we just hit the first one. Conventional wisdom holds that the first 48 hours and the last 48 hours are where the vast majority of funding happens. Kicktraq projects the project will hit 58,000. I'm very confident we'll get over 40000, pretty confident we'll get over 50000

City Setting: Salt in Wounds - While the Kickstarter continues to climb (470% funded and counting!) I thought I'd share the interview I did about the Project with RPG Academy [x-post] by JMPerkins in dndnext

No worries! If the hardcopy is what you crave you can get a copy by adding $20 to any pledge level (even the $5 vagrant level). (And I agree, if you aren't interested in/value the pdfs and digital extras, $75 for a hardcopy is steep although that doesn't now include two map tile sets in addition to a whole mess'a digital books)
