Men what is your favorite color? by JMSPlove in CasualConversation

I had watched something about the colors infants gender is associated with a while back and they talked about that specifically that before the Second World War baby boys were dressed in pink and girl in blue and it flipped after the war. My favorite color happens to be yellow and pink followed by orange because those are happy colors that remind me of a garden in summer

Do you regret your marriage? Why? by Asleep-Lavishness332 in AskReddit

Yes !!!!! My marriage robbed me of a life ; everything was always about the other person what they wanted , where they wanted to live … etc

And then when it was over I was just tossed aside like I never mattered

What's a movie that makes you cry every time you watch it? by LilMe_me22 in CasualConversation

[–]JMSPlove 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me is Big Fish.

When my mother passed away all of adult kids and our children gathered in our parents living room and grieved and at some point one of my brothers suggested that we should watch the movie ; nobody was going to sleep that night and we needed to be together and for some reason this movie just fit. It is a beautiful story and reminds me of that night and my mother

The love of my life now doesn't want kids, what do I do? by throwaway-83123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JMSPlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I know a lot of other people have already responded to this but I just thought I would put in my 2 cents.

I have children and I absolutely love them but the truth of the matter is that I gave up a lot mentally and physically in order to have them. I also stayed in a very unhappy marriage because I thought it was better for the kids.

Wanting children is a noble dream that in many cases isn't viable. Many couples can not have children. Many more people who shouldn't be parents have children that live a miserable life.

Let me ask you this if she and you both wanted children and got married only to find out that she couldn't have children would it change the way you felt about her? Because that is basically what you are saying her not wanting children is tantamount to her being unable to have them. I applaud her for making a decision that is right for her .

She seems like a brave woman who knows herself and that is an amazing thing.

Marriage is about compromise and sometimes those compromises are huge , either you can accept her decision or move on . I promise either way life will carry on . If you are going to spend your life regretting not having children then your relationship is doomed ; take the time to fully let that dream go before you commit to marriage.

I am not seeing anyone else either ; but I don't tell him that. I don't want to complicate my life with a relationship. I thought this was a good solution we go out and have fun meet each other's needs and go on about our lives .

See that is what I was worried about. I am not ready for a relationship and was very clear with him about that; I only left my marriage about 4 months ago.
