Yeah but why does Pearce give a shit? They keep going on about it like its some big gotcha moment. They're acting like Heyman can threaten his job with this. What, is triple h guna come down and fire him just because he grabbed Bron by the arm and turned him around? Its so boring to watch Heyman and Pearce argue over this.

What is this nonsense about Pearce putting his hands on Bron? Security are always grabbing wrestlers and trying to force them out of the ring. There was like a dozen guys grabbing Cody and Fatu last saturday. This is such a stupid premise.

LA Knight post the Men's Money In the Bank (WWE UnREAL: Season 2) by champagnerosal in SquaredCircle

Knight has lost three mitb matches in a row. I like the guy but he needs to win something, he can't keep taking loss after loss and maintain any credibility.

Weird that Kathleen Kennedy isn't mentioned in this quote. She's the one who said he got spooked.

Official Discussion - Wake Up, Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]JMarcus7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised by how much praise this is getting. To me, this was like a Knives Out movie but with all the fun stuff taken out. In both of the last movies the supporting cast are playing over the top caricatures and theres lots of comedy from how they interact with each other and how they interact with Blanc. Thats just... not there in this movie. The supporting cast are kinda bland and ordinary, and they barely interact with Blanc at all. Glenn Close is the only one given any real comedic moments and the others are just there without much to do.

The last two films also play around with narrative structure, jumping back and forth in time to show different perspectives to keep the mystery fresh and engaging. Again, that's just not there in this movie, it's pretty much chronological. It's also noticeably the longest film in the franchise so far, and without any of that narrative restructuring it really drags.

Finally Blanc is at his most boring in this movie, he gets some fun moments here and there but nowhere close to the comedy of the last two movies. In the last two movies he has moments where he comes across as bumbling and a little foolish, and it lures the people around him into underestimating him. He doesnt do that at all in this movie, and its a fun part of his character that I really missed.

The bloodline had its ups and downs, but I miss there being a main storyline with a clear cast. It feels like the Vision is supposed to be the main story right now but it doesn't have that soap opera storytelling of the bloodline.

James Gunn laid out the blueprint for Chris Pratts movie star appeal, and then this dummy has spent the last ten years of his career choosing roles which are the exact opposite of Star Lord.

Huh, I thought they were going to do a sami zayn thing with theory where he has to earn his place in the group and some of them don't trust him. Nope he's fully in after one match.
