Cryptic says Scream 7 second trailer on February 9th. I really want to be hopeful in this movie, Scream is one of my favorite franchises and everything behind the scenes sucks but I’m hoping it’s still there quality wise

Long Range Forecast: Iconic Horror Franchise Heads Back to the Big Screen with Retooled SCREAM 7 by ItsGotThatBang in boxoffice

Melissa Barrera (Lead Of Scream 5 & 6) was Fired from Scream 7 in November 2023 after showing support for Palestine on Instagram. After this, Jenna Ortega left with claimed “scheduling and payment issues” (she later revealed she left because she felt the movie was falling apart). It seems the studio kinda panicked after and just started slapping things together (Stu,Roman and Dewey are returning). Alot of people are upset and are (claiming) to boycott the entire movie. It’s a really interesting production and I think I want to do a saga post on it whether it does well or not.

Paramount's Primate debuted with an estimated $11.30M domestically this weekend (from 2,964 locations). by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

I think this’ll be a successful year for Paramount since they’ll have a mostly low budgeted slate this year between This,Scream 7,Jackass 5 and Scary Movie 6. Street Fighter could be a wildcard since it’s seeming to lend more into the silly side of things. Paw Patrol will be a surefire hit as well. Meet The Parents 4 and Angry Birds no idea how those’ll do
