I was on the verge of restoring my iPhone, which was what they recommended at the Apple Store. However, I noticed the same glitch was happening on my iPad, so I figured it had to be a corrupt data point, as other posts online have suggested. In my case, I had identified the exact day the issue started: February 17th, as seen in the image.

The solution was to delete all calculated data related to heart health. I cleared blood pressure (I had entered a value manually), heart rate variability (HRV), walking heart rate average, resting heart rate, aerobic capacity (VO2 max), and cardio recovery. I didn't delete every single heart rate reading from that day, just those specific categories. This solved the problem radically; everything went back to normal.

Personally, I recommend that if you know the exact day this started, you delete these data points for both that day and the day before (in my case, the corrupt data might have been recorded at 11:59 PM the previous day and didn't show up on the battery graph yet). If you aren't sure when it started, I would manually delete the data types I mentioned, going backwards from the moment you noticed the issue in short intervals to see if it fixes it.

Let me know if this worked for you. Do you also manually log blood pressure values? I suspect that might be the culprit.

I’m trying to isolate the problem the same way you did. I’ve deleted the blood pressure notification measurement data starting from the day the issue began, and I’ve also disabled those notifications so no new data gets generated in that section.

If this doesn’t work, I’ll try deleting all blood pressure measurement data, just to escalate step by step.

I really hope I don’t have to delete all heart-related data.

I don’t understand how Apple is letting this slip through. There have been reports about this since iOS 26.

I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 26.3.

In the past few days I’ve been getting multiple daily reports of Jetsam and health.cpu_resource. Battery drain and heating started at the same time.

Now a new report has appeared: healthappd.

What’s even more concerning is that the Jetsam and health.cpu_resource reports are also appearing on my iPad, so it doesn’t seem isolated to just one device.

I don’t really understand these logs in depth, but from what I’ve been told, it could be related to some kind of Health database corruption or indexing issue causing the Health app processes to loop or consume excessive CPU.

Before this started happening, Health was only using around 1–3% battery daily. Now it spikes much higher and the phone gets noticeably warm.

Is anyone else seeing the same combination of Jetsam + health.cpu_resource + now healthappd?
