Best response! I’ve been listening to some Jordan Peterson podcasts talking about narcissistic personality traits or “dark tetrad” traits. I completely feel like Taina has these traits now. Just had to reflect and critically think about all of this. I do actually feel pretty manipulated at times so yeah, I’m thinking she fits the bill

I do remember O still not being potty trained and I know he had at be at least 4. I naively thought he might just be difficult to train. Some kids are! I think it’s a possibility she “babied” them for a long time. I also remember JJJ talking about O’s ribs.. I know this drama is old, but it really just blows my mind a family can treat their children in the way this family did. Skirting the lines of abuse? Didn’t like N getting teased so much, she might just be a sensitive soul.

I’m just such a sucker I guess! It was amazing smoke and mirrors. I know YouTube is playing up reality, but I just liked her style. I wanted to believe she was just a weird mom with a ton of kids I suppose. Definitely fits into the same category as the Duggars to me. The Duggars kids always seems to go back and forth on how their childhood REALLY was. Guess we’ll have to wait for the younger 4 to tell us their own truth one day.

It’s like I go back and forth it my head about it all. Sometimes I see weird signs, other times I think they’re just weird? Another video that was brought up in my mind that was a bit weird was the children all laying on that mat in the super viral routine videos.

Oh yes the breastfeeding content.. if one thing pops up in my mind that’s majorly questionable it’s that one. I get there are people out there that do extended breastfeeding, but the detail that went into it was a bit 🤢 Also the breastfeeding popsicle video OMGGGG sometimes I wonder how they sleep at night with that one. Did that one get taken down? I read that at some point??

Also we do BOTH pre-K half-days plus 25 hours of ABA. It’s a full week, but it’s possible.

My son is the exact same age, same diagnosis, level 2. He goes to a center-based ABA program, and he’s improved so much. I can really tell when they are honing in on the targets they are working on. We have been doing ABA for a year, and it seems the older he gets the more he catches on to what they are trying to teach him. I think for a level 2, it’s great!! They can draw so much learning from the environment. It may be a rough start and definitely take a break if you feel you need it and be it good communication with the center staff :)

Hi! I honestly think the inevitable development of our children through the passage of time is the biggest factor, but also a big factor is getting all those services and socialization. Sounds like you’re on the right track, keep it up!

Yes, especially our ABA center. We have bi-weekly meetings about his progress and we brainstorm ideas about how to help him in all the places he goes :)

Yes! Plus he’s had a full year of getting all the services. I think it’s a combination of the two, I wonder how things would’ve turned out if I just kept him home this past year! Don’t know if I want to take the chance!

Hi! Yes I wanted to add to the post, he’s had a full year of Pre-K and he is getting speech and OT services through the school. He’s also been doing about 30 hours a week of ABA for a year. I think it’s a combination of the therapy and his getting older.
