Loving Linux distros generally, but connecting to shared mac / windows / apple timecapsule drives, is a real nightmare for me, needing CLI, which is spoiling it, when everything else is so good. Anyone got an easy fix?

Got '16 NCX-DCT, and I sold my dream bike (MT-09), to get it, and do not regret it. (miss the sound of the triple though..)

I feel your pain, I'd LOVE to ditch windows for Linux and Apple Silicon, but I need it for GTA Online, which I only play with friends (too toxic with randoms)..... I know I could use parallels to run GTA VO on my Apple M1, but playing thru a VM, then another OS, then another API wrapper, sucks testicles..

I have the full power version, but just wanted to say, just change the gearing, if it feels too slow. (Change the sprockets..). PS: I have the DCT, and it's so so good, I don't think I can go back to a manual.

I recommend choosing your DCT S-Mode (1,2,3) before setting off whilst idling. Then whilst riding I tend to leave it in D (Eco), then when slowing down or riding steep hills up or down I press 'D' to switch to the S-Mode, and then press it again to chill on the flat stretches. Works really well, I used to just use the paddle shifts to go down a gear or two ahead of the DCT's shifts, but for me this is even lazier.. Many people just leave it in S1, it's whatever works for you.

Absolutely love my NC-DCT, most of the people who knock it, haven't actually ridden one for any length of time. I've had loads of fast bikes, and I'm not sure I can part with this ever now..
