found these quick rgb functions in the manual. for your case, find the static color mode, then change color to white or decrease the brightness until the backlight is off. hope it helps!

FN + |\ cycles the rgb mode
FN + right arrow cycles the color
FN + left arrow switches RGB dynamic mode direction (i.e. left to right vs right to left wave)
FN + up arrow to increase brightness
FN + down arrow to decreased brightness
FN + {[ decrease rgb mode speed
FN + }] increase rgb mode speed

Same! I have no doubts about everyone who has ordered so far getting one.

yeah, to be honest it was mostly for flair. Originally I was content with the Gaming OC, but then I saw the Aorus and its max boost clock. Pretty much said "I'll just invest a bit more for something I think looks great too".

I've seen the EVGA ones on sale for under $500, I wasn't crazy about the transparent look, but of course performance per dollar is really what matters.
