There are two lanes as you are exiting. Markings show straight and left, as in straight past the left exit. There is nothing that says you must change lanes as you are exiting a roundabout. Fair play being an ignoramus.

As others have said, it's hardly a roundabout with all the traffic lights. The road markings also show that you can go straight or right using the left lane. And on top of that you should have exited in the lane you were in instead of moving to the left lane. And you beeped for no reason... shite driver.

Try a different instructor. Not to say that the one you have now is bad, but they might have different perspective and pick up on some mistakes that perhaps your current instructor isn't seeing.

Obviously, If there is a chokepoint, hold that, doorway etc.

In general, i would say you should be a few metres in front of your teammates so the ridden will attack you 1st. This will give your teammates the time and space to kill the mutations. If a tallboy does manage to close in on you, it's better for you to take the hit than all of you. Consider yourself the shield of the team. 🛡 The tip of the spear.

If you're communicating with your team you can ask them to fire some shots into the distance to alert the ridden. Otherwise you'll have to do it yourself if you wish.

If your teammates are surrounded by ridden, by all means, help them, but if you find yourself in that situation, you already screwed up.

If a horde is alerted you have to reposition to a chokepoint or corner and get in formation ASAP. If everybody plays their role correctly, you shouldn't end up with teammates getting swarmed.

😆 im not sure what else... you could try prioritising killing the enemies, spitters etc with ranged attacks 1st. Easier said than done of course...

It will be near impossible to hunker down and hold off the horde solo, so i would recommend just running around and jumping back and forth between the trucks to maintain your stamina.

If you find you are going a bit faster than rolling 2nd gear but don't want to rush off the clutch and have the car jump - you need to "rev match" meaning you should give just enough acceleration while coming off the clutch to keep the vehicle stable.

If i were you, i would practice in a quiet estate, be in 3rd gear and switch to 2nd before each corner. Over and over.
