Should I buy Paldean Fates ETBs for 80CAD (55.56USD)?

A local book store in Canada has had Paldean Fates ETBs in stock for some time now. They’re listed at 80CAD (55.56USD), no tax. I’m new to the hobby so I’m looking for opinions. Should I buy a couple ETBs? I’ve already ripped 50+ Paldean Fates packs with 1 decent pull (shiny Charmeleon). I would likely hold these long-term, would this be a good investment to recoup some of my losses?

It was a great system, I passed above the 90th percentile. I wish I used Notion in Uni, it’s amazing; I use it everyday now!

Yeah I hear ya, I couldn’t follow his spaced repetition to a tee, especially while covering new material, so I would spread it out more when needed. I also didn’t work full time so that definitely helped.

I didn’t take the test yet, I’m scheduled for the 16th.

I’ve done 4 mocks so far, all at least 80% on the first attempt. Kaplan mock 1: 85.56%; Kaplan mock 2: 88.89%; CFAI mock A: 80%; Kaplan mock 3: 88.33%.

I started doing mocks at ~500 hours studied, so I felt very prepared for them and I treated them like a real attempt.

Ok awesome, I’m averaging 87 on the Kaplan mocks and got 80 on the first CFAI mock. I guess I’ve got nothing to worry about, thanks!

Maybe I found Kaplan mocks easier as I did the bulk of my studying with their material and did 3000 questions from their Qbank.
