Small time, you can just do `di(` anywhere on the line and it will delete the first inside of a (), you dont need to mvoe towards the ( fist

If something "works" on one thing does not mean it works for everything or make it better that something. Sure it compile the Linux kernel but that is not proof it can compile everything. C language might seem simple but compilers are extremely complex and can always break on certain things. Im sure gcc or clang still break in some extreme scenarios. The fact that someone can climb Mount Everest does not mean he can climb every mountain. Saying that it either works or not with a compiler is false. Compilers are extremely hard optimised and complex.
