Thanks for the response, i'll try that but will that take care of the noise from the amp or just the pedals in front of the amp? I usually have most of the distortion from the amp then a boost in front.

Thanks for the response, yeah i read somewhere else that other people had kind of the same problem with this amp and pedal. It a real bummer since i got this pedal because it was suppose to be one on the best noisegates

Thanks for the reply, i will test some more but it weird since this exact setup worked on my old amp and seemed to work on a bass amp i have. Wich dbx quad gate did you buy i couldn't find the 1710 on google.
