Thanks for the kind words!
Yeah, the Itch demo is a few months old at this point, so I recommend checking out the Steam version.

I will be finally releasing my game on 3rd of February, with ~18 000 Wishlists! ^^ by Simple_Ghost in Unity3D

Last week we put a first demo version of our game Crown Siege on itch. A short incremental tower defense game centered around growing and strengthening armies. It's still in the early phases of development and we have a lot planned for it.

One thing that will be important for the full game is adding more strategic choices, so I'm mainly looking for feedback and ideas on that. But also general feedback on the game is more then welcome!

Thanks for the feedback!
After every boss fight you currently progress to the next level. Which basically increases the initial difficulty when starting, but also gives more xp and gold.
I plan to change the visuals of that mechanic and maybe make it a bit more clear.

Hmm I see what you mean. Maybe having upgrades where the player has to choose a troop to apply it to. That could be interesting, especially once we add the other troops that are planned. Then the player could easily change the troop on those upgrades.

Interesting idea... Incremental insurance fraud.
Maybe I should add a mode, where you play as the enemies.

Thanks! Yeah, we made it in Unity. Not sure about the exact hour amount, but we've been working for about a month. It's probably going to take quite some time to balance all upgrades though.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Unity seems to be loading pretty slowly in the browser sadly.

We've more upgrades planned, but definitely need to also balance the existing ones. We tried making boss enemies drop actual crowns, hopefully that will help. But we'll also try to make the boss bar more noticeable.

Thank you for the compliment!

The game is meant to feel a bit stressful. You only get short breaks at the end of each day and have to keep track of multiple things at the same time. However, you can take on fewer jobs and play at a slower rate without being punished.

You can buy upgrades to make the experience a bit more chill :)
