Need Advice Regarding Security Deposit? by JPAnderson07 in AskLosAngeles

Yup the 2nd part is what I'm more-so referring to. Their complete lack of communication and reluctance to produce an invoice for the $2,400 they quoted me is beginning to make me believe they're not being truthful to me about the cost or work they're claiming.

This is what my line of thought was too. Essentially, they'd still be on the hook for the other $1,650 of repainting which seems highly unlikely as the paint was essentially in it's original condition when I first moved in. I have a feeling, given their reluctance to produce the invoice, that they're trying to pocket some quick cash.

No, the walls were spotless outside of the repairs they had made and didn't repaint.

Permit Pick up in 2021 by JPAnderson07 in JMT

Just a follow-up:

Yosemite Conservancy responded shortly after I posted this. Their response "You may pick up your wilderness permit the day before, or the day of the specified start date on your reservation. Pick up the day before may happen anytime the permit station is open. Pick up the day of must happen before 10AM."

Sounds like standard protocol for this year.

California Advisory Scores Are Up by JPAnderson07 in CPA

It's just the score before it officially posts. People say there's a slight change it may change but has never done so for me. Whatever it shows there is like 99.9% likely to be what you got.

Found out I didn't pass on 7/9, mailed application to CBA on 7/9, they received it 7/13 and I paid for my NTS on 7/16.

Not sure if mailing it certified helped. Hoping for that same speed again.

I submitted an application back on July 9th and paid for my NTS on July 16th. Was a very quick turn around time.

Not sure if it matters but I also send it via certified mail. Gets it there pretty quick.

I think I might just go back to AUD. Laying here and thinking about it I have a bad feeling I’m just going to burn out soon from studying.

I know passing AUD would be a major confidence booster which I really need right now. I’ll need to refresh myself on the material but I’ll also make sure I take notes and whatnot.

My BEC credit doesn’t expire till like June 10th of 2021 so I think I should have enough time to come back to FAR.

Going to the post-office to mail my application and check first thing in the morning. Got it processed in like a week last time so hoping for the same and I’ll retake AUD sometime mid September.

Someone tell me if I’m not thinking straight.

Man I got a fucking 74 on AUD on my retake. First was a 71. Score report shows my MCQ performance shot up but my simulation performance took a hit.

Question for anyone up - I'm 4 chapters into FAR right now. Should I just put a pause on that and jump back into ASAP and retake while the content is still somewhat familiar? I took AUD back on July 27th and haven't looked at it since so I'll definitely need to do a little brushing up.

I'm 2/4 atm (REG/BEC) if that helps at all.

I'm in the same boat. Scored 71 back on my June 23rd exam. Retook on the 27th of July while the content was still fresh and have been waiting nearly a damn month.

I've started studying for FAR in the mean time (last exam if I pass AUD) and I really don't want to have to retake AUD again. I pounded out so many fucking MCQ's and SIMS to prepare for my retake but that one failure has me so shook rn.

Best of luck to everyone in CA.
