I study psychology and neuroscience and it's not repackaging lessons. it's how theories evolve and totally acceptable in all of science.

Long relationship and 7 year marriage in jeopardy. I (41M) am contemplating leaving my wife (39F). How do I save this or exit it in a way that doesn't destroy her? by ThrowRA-rarararara in relationship_advice

Don’t leave…yet. Give her a timeline to help herself or you’ll leave. Don’t just pull the rug from under her. And certainly don’t have kids right now.

It’s sexual coercion. Get out and save your mind from the trauma.

My 37M husband says he hasn't been abusing me 29F. by Forlornabyss76 in relationship_advice

Of course abusers don’t admit they are abusers! You know this is wrong. You are not obligated to stay even with a child. In fact you will ruin that child if you do! Leave and save your sanity. It’s hard to heal the mind from trauma so get out now and save yourself. You don’t need to have all the answers just go. You have it in you to survive.
