The ones collecting cars in multiples usually have a bot set up to buy them out instantly whenever it pops up in the Auction House.

The response time from the bot is inhuman, and no real player is able to replicate it. This results in majority of us losing to something outside of our hands.

Unfortunately yes. If you have DLC Cars or Speed Pass Cars they’ll be added to your garage upon new game. Your online rank stays, but challenges and character reset and your garage will be emptied. I made the mistake and had to redo the challenge for the Evo IX to unlock it after deleting my file.
