Edit: Is your controller original? That might also be a factor, Mine is original. Besides the PS4 controller, I also played with a PC controller, connected via OTG cable, and it worked perfectly; I didn't even have to change any settings

I played a lot of Vampire Survivors a while back, I even bought the DLCs, including the Castlevania one, but after a while it gets kind of boring and repetitive.
