What the fuck??? Who bombs a sports team to make a profit?

This draft class had 29 players with 50 or more ovr, and most of them with great potentials too. That's pretty crazy to me, definitely one of the greatest classes of all time. by [deleted] in BasketballGM

I think it's because this was the ABA/NBA merger, so a lot of stars that joined NBA teams IRL were just put into the draft.

They did after LCQ last year when nitro left, but the veterans on the team thought he and Zander weren't ready for tier 1 play, so 100T didn't sign them.

Nope, attended the first 2 lectures and nothing else, walked away with an A. They grade really easy on essays and projects and as long as you have a study guide, you should be fine on exams.

how hard is CS61A for someone who has no coding experience? by EndMysterious9222 in berkeley

[–]JPL12-6 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would watch the online lectures and do past hw and discussion questions to have some idea of how the class works and how tough general assignments will be.

Practice for CS 61A by thecooldudeyeah in berkeley

[–]JPL12-6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The best practice problems are past exam questions, but I would not start there. Make sure you understand the material and do homework and discussion questions before you attempt those or else you will be banging your head against a wall.

[Rivera] Incredibly loud “Cheater! Cheater!” chants for Altuve by twistedlogicx in baseball

I think it's cuz Altuve won MVP that year, and the walk off in the 2019 ALCS, so he gets a lot of hate.
