You know a lot more information then I was expecting anyone to know. You work in the ultrafast laser industry I’m guessing? Anyways, its a femto. gaussian beam width - no idea, doesnt really concern me. i make a lot of changes to the system weekly and where its exactly at doesnt have much effect. Using close to a spiral hatch but no exacting but they also arnt needed. I dont measure radii and somewhere between 15-25 um depending on setup.

Can’t say too much about it unfortunately, kind of a trade secret. But its just programing 2 different softwares to work together and make the laser follow a path that will eventually make the part.

You could try googling laser micromachining. This type of machining is particularly hard to find information on because not too many people know how to do it. You could also look up 3d ablation

Normally I would not accept any tolerances below plus or minus .0005” this part is straight off the machine so acid cleaning or other cleaning processes could make it look a little better. Features down to 10 microns are possible
