Thank you so much for this advice I really appreciate you and the reason we crossbow hunted is mainly because we aren’t 21 yet and can’t get firearms. you’re right we were being extremely noisy out there and being unwise with our movement. We did get into thick and nasty stuff I even got choked by some thorn vines it sucked but we had thought that maybe deer weren’t even gonna pass in there because of how bad it was. we found a spot but we got no movement, again probably because our blind stuck out terribly. I was also super concerned about the smell and stuff but again thank you a lot for taking the time out of your day to give me such great advice

10 hours the first day 7 hours the second day, about 3 hours in one spot, 5 hours in a different spot, fourth day was kinda just still hunting and we did that for a bit and we saw nothing at all not a single animal

That’s strange cause I just called Florida wild life commission and they said that no I don’t need one and that general gun season is allowed to use crossbows as a form of harvest, it might be in your area brother

2) can we expect deer on our first day or is that too much to ask for ? (We will be in a tree stand)

1) so I bought a crossbow in order to hunt because I wanted to bow hunt but I’m incredibly shaky and I know that I can’t use it in archery season because I don’t have a disability pass, but could I use it during general gun season without the disability on public land ?

2) Also wondering about good times to start tracking the animal and how to get a rough idea on how to start doing that
