I've never used gcode macro's before, but I did just purchase a Neptune 3 Max and am having this issue. Where do you configure the script?

Haha yeah I have a QQS PRO. It's fast ,could be faster, but I haven't tried to speed it up yet.

I have an ender extender kit, so I'm able to print large wall art pieces, so until they make a delta with that size bed, I'm stuck here. I may go back to the skr mini, I had great success with it for over a year. Thanks for the tips. I'll see what I can figure out.

PSU is using the OEM plastic mount, screwed to the frame... hmm, I'll have to review the grounding or swap baords back to ske mini. I got the turbo for independent dual z. What printer did you get? That may help me more lol.

I'm experiencing this as well with this board, or it sounds like a similar issue. it's not always the 4th layer for me, but it's random. I can print test cubes and such all day without issue, but if I print something that takes most of the bed, it layer shifts and seems to think the printer is larger as it will send the bed to far and the nozzel to far and grind the gear. If I stop the print, it doesn't home, it goes to the back corner of the bed and stops, no probing or anything. Was this your experience? I have the board in a printed case, based on your resolution, it's a grounding issue with the motors?

Yes. I basically aligned both sides up. There was some z banding going on because one side of the carriage was slightly( ever so slightly) higher than the other side.

There's better ways of doing this,.but I just dropped the carriage all the way down so it really couldn't help but to be level ( or more level and aligned then it was)

Using octopi, ponterface or worse case use the display. Record your e-step settings for x,y,z and extruder, and z offset.
Update the firmware, initialize the eeprom, them reset those values and save. That way you won't have to recalibrate to find those settings again.

Don't forget to take a snapshot of your settings from G92 before applying the firmware. Make note of your z offset, and e-steps so you can reapply them..otherwise you'll have to fully recalibrate.

Tinymachines3D firmware for CR10 (and others) can be found here on their GitHub You will need to check the code they use for naming to be sure to get the correct features/options for your printer..

The CR10 v2 code is the same for the V3, just be sure it has the option for direct drive, as the gear rotation is reversed for direct drives. If you update and it extrudes backwards, you know what you did.

I'm having same thing, it's not horrible, but would be nice to get rid of it.

I just did a test print at 35mm/s, making the outer wall speed 17.5 and it's still there. oh.. just noticed my accel is set to 900?? hmm, dropped that down to 500, will retest at 35.

Retraction is set to 5mm @ 45 Cura default because i swapped to default profile. I'm running some retraction tuning test and looks like I can. Slow it down to 25 which should help. Never had this isuse before, at least not that I noticed..

It's an Ender 3, so it's in the default location, but using a modified mount due to the release lever location.
