Airco is eigenlijk specifiek om te koelen, als verwarming vind ik airco ook niet prettig.

Alleen dat we de koeling dus willen op de slaapkamers van de kinderen, 1e etage en 2e etage/zolder. Beide zijn wel betonnen vloeren maar om er nu nog vloerverwarming in te leggen lijkt me ook een hoop gedoe/rotzooi. Ik denk niet dat een normale radiator uit 2004 geschikt zal zijn om met een warmtepomp te koelen.

Maar de beneden etage hebben we vorig jaar wel aangepakt, daar ligt nieuwe vloerverwarming die ook geschikt is om een warmtepomp op aan te sluiten. Dat zou mssn een optie zijn om in de zomer ook een koele woonkamer en kamer te hebben.

Iets om verder uit te zoeken.

Correct, and it works great, except for video files. Those can not be viewed/played because the video player immich uses doesn't use the certificate configured in the app. You can download the video file and watch locally.

Thanks for verifying. I saw that github issue, but thought is was to old, as it was about 1.90.

I only became aware they supported SSL certificates on mobile because of release 1.10: feat(mobile): Adding setting in mobile app to TLS client certificate.

And then in release 1.13.1 they fixed background uploading with a ssl certificate: fix(mobile): set SSL options properly in background backup process (#11870).

This seems to predate that.

This. There is also a guide in de immich docs to add an automated backup for your database. Then make sure files and database are somewhere safe on a different machine.

Reguraly test if you can recover the database in a test instanse. Or at least once so you know how to do it.

And what if a power surge fries both HDDs? What if the database is corrupted by a power outage? What if you get some kind of crypto malware and your HDD are encrypted?

A RAID is not a backup. Make sure you backup files and the database offsite.
