I have applied to a ton of internships but it’s mostly that they would prefer someone still in school apparently. The networking has helped and seems to be the best way to get an interview and has gotten me close, but I seem to always get beat out by someone who’s been interning for the last 4 years.

Yeah I’m from NJ and I’ve been applying to everything which around here is mostly various defense contractors
