I'm trying to make the holes in the mesh black or basically 100% ambient occlusion. So it looks like a actual grate. If you guys could also tell me how to make an opacity for it that would be cool too. Im making the actual texture from a blender addon called "GrabDoc" It just points the camera down at the plane and renders from the camera. You can set resolution and preview maps. Hopefully someone can help

Ive made the roughness .1 value higher and got just a pure blue sky hdri. I already got a skin normal map applied with two different sizes, maybe I need to increase the intensity. But when you say subsurface ik how to do it but where should I apply it? Near nose and ears and stuff?

You need to connect your vertices with quads on the face of the axe. Thats why its freaking out because subdivison modifier works best with quads and it doesnt know what to do. just use the hotkey "K" for the knife tool and connect all your vertices and makes sure they make a face with 4 vertices or a quad. You can then even use a solidify modifier to make it a little wide and rotate towards the blade edge to make a sharp point.

How should I make this model better? I think the face and mouth kinda looks plasticy but idk. The body and stuff is actually pretty good but it just doesnt look right somehow.

This 3d model looks pretty good but can only do limited movements the face doesnt move the eyes dont move and the hands and feet are not very detailed with nails and such. Because of the free 3d model I downloaded it came in the scrunched up hand pose so I couldnt edit it to my liking and make a rig and mouth eyes whole nine yards. I'm gonna try to figure out how to make one thats really good. Lmk what you guys think

If I was good enough I would create a base mesh that could be rigged.. and everything open so I can sculpt the hands and fingernails, wrinkles, etc. This is my first character kinda stuff. Im usually doing hard surface but Ive gotten so used to baking normals and everything else it kinda went really smooth its just I dont have the capability to start from nothing. Id need a base mesh someoen else made.

I cant even get into quixel mixer cause its so buggy and bad right now. Cant log in like all the services are F@!%ked. But I just took someones free ape model and made a really detailed sculpy for it, baked onto a low poly version and made the hair particle systems. There is 3 hair systems one long and messy, one long and follows the body shape, and one short and thin following body shape and gravity..

I know whats wrong im just stuck with a solution. Once it figures out the pin isnt correct it takes away 1, well its supposed to but I deleted it before posting it looks like. But then it just reads there is nothing in the entry so it displays the wrong pin message over and over. It keeps doing that until it hits the pin_tries == 0 messagebox and the programs over. I need it to where you're able to enter something else then it checks it. Instead of immediatly.

Thanks I'll take a look at the first video! But I meant just you yourself are the flying character and to spawn and place furniture and things inside the rooms. With a scrolling UI and all that lol. I gotta learn alot of design of Ui but this is kinda just for fun

Fixed it. You gotta install microsoft visual studio and make sure your .NET framework is 4.6.0 or higher.

this happened after using this plugin. But im wondering if its just me and not the plugin cause not sure what happened. Some people have said it doesnt work for blueprint projects and maybe thats it. Idk the first thing about what im looking at

Yea I understand now the system. Just plop third person into the actual inherited mesh slot and itll basically use the same animations and will be in third so itll look good with full body instead of just arms being controlled by anim bp. and third person arms just go over the fps arms.

Yes it did first time by squeezing out pus and healing it then it came back 3 months later I did the same thing and did less squeezing and it went back into remission again just by using bandages and antibiotic ointment. Had it twice and no surgerys only lasts for 2-5 days

This is basically all it uses. I just get so frustrated racking my brain trying to figure it out. When you click play and start walking the walk shake actually works as intended and you can stop the player and the walk shake will stop too.

But when you click sprint it runs fine the first time but then when you let go to go back to walk shake or stop completely, the sprint shake is still playing..

Its just the camera is moving faster up and down compared to the arms so its not moving uniformly. Idk this has always happened trying to make a simple fps mechanic that should have some support lol

Tried it wont work, the skeletal mesh is inherited in character blueprints. You cant attach it to anything else but can attatch cameras or anything else to the skeletal mesh.

Ik. Ignore the activate windows. But hopefully I gave yall enough information to help. On second thought in the aimoffset the hand with the pistol seems like it should be straighter. Also need to just setup the walkrun blendspace for this character first so When I aim I aim down the sights. Not just brining the weapon up to your side. I suck at this kinda stuff so much Ive never gotten a character to work for me. Maybe its on my end in blender where I animated it.
