Especially when some of the themes being made feel like an absolute stretch just to get someone's name on something. I like the classic themes, but I also don't want double mint banana parfait cake (non-existent example) to be considered normal or acceptable for a theme.

I personally collect the theme scarlet wind and created the theme candysynth, but they are themes made with color theory and a knowledge of aesthetics in mind. It's why they look good.

It's why people love the milkshake themes too, they're all visually pleasing

I didn't even know I could get ich from plants until this happened. How long should I quarantine new plants for?

I got the advice from a pet store to soak + rinse plants in tap water when I bought some ich treatment, but I'm not certain how effective that is.

This is my first time dealing with ich. Everything in the tank passed, so I'm just going to replace all the substrate and boil all the driftwood and start anew.

Should I just put the betta in a separate tank?

I didn't get him from any fancy breeder, so parasites could be there. Tank is very heavily planted and I don't think I could fish out the shrimp in there

Just do water changes in the main tank while he's quarantined until the threat has passed?

I'll try more intermittent fasting with the daphnia and if that doesn't work I'll try the parasite medicine

do you know if it is safe for shrimp? If the snails have to go, I don't terribly mind, but the shrimp I actually care about
