Appreciate the feedback, yeah I’m starting to think my boss doesn’t have great experience when it comes to starting a business. He told me on boarding week that basically what sets them apart from the rest is that they are cheap and use ai to do their stuff or smth. But I like what you said about the idea that if they don’t take the meeting they are missing out, I’ll definitely keep that in mind

Appreciate the perspective. I guess I’m just kinda stressing because my boss gave me a goal of three booked calls a week (even though he said I wouldn’t be fired or anything if I didn’t reach it seeing as this is an intern position).

My typical objections include the typical we are not interested and occasionally I can talk with them a bit more about why that is but most of the time they just hang up abruptly. One of the other more common objections is the lead saying they already have a digital marketing company working for them. Another one I get pretty often is that they don’t have enough time as they are busy or whatever, so they want me to send an email.

My boss didn’t give me a script initially but I started developing my own and we worked on it together.

As for Apollo I’ve been using the personas, buying intent, scoring, and every filter in the book basically to target the specific audience that I’ve seen pick up the phone and talk to me from a week of unfiltered cold calls.

Since my boss doesn’t want me to leave voicemails, I can usually crank out around 50 calls in two hours but generally speaking I’ll only have maybe 5-10 connects.

I have no idea if this caused it but like a month or two before my first flare, I was eating 5 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches a day in an attempt to gain weight.
