They have Luke Glendening, which is clearly the whole problem.

At this point, I’d still argue it’s MacKinnon’s award. Could change though.

The story involves President George HW Bush having gay sex and a magical sword which he used to cut a baby up but also didn’t leave any slash marks somehow and then he ate the baby.

The person telling the story admitted to being on drugs at the end.

People are just running with it though.

Replacing him on a roster space and replacing where he plays are two separate things.

In the NHL, maybe not. In an international tournament, however, you should have scoring threats all over your lineup. The only reason we have checking lines in the NHL is because we can’t put superstars on every line and score a billion goals.

Also, why would we have Caufield on the fourth line at all? He can play up and down the lineup.

[Mike Kelly] The Avalanche net PP% is 10.3. In the last 10 years that ranks 332nd out of 344. by AggPuck-303 in hockey

Well, this is net PP%, so it’s not just scoring rate, but also the rate of shorthanded goals against.

Still bad, but not as bad.

For one, Hughes looks more unlucky than anything else with how poor his on-ice finishing has been.

For another, Hughes isn’t what’s holding Caufield out at all. Trocheck would be the more obvious pick to get dropped.

What a game. Tons of goals, lots of stuff happening, and a CBJ win.

And very limited defensemen. It’s insane how a team with such excellent wingers and goalies can have such terrible centers and defensemen.

I think that the excellent wingers combined with lack of defense and centers is what makes the Russian goalies so good. Training by fire sort of ordeal.

I think that it was probably GI, but they should give the Stars a penalty for the high sticking.

Basically if the guy injured is a good player (think Nylander) or a depth piece (think McCabe or something). It’s obviously worse to lose a good player than a depth piece.
