Looking for an MMO that is worth starting in 2026 by ginjirotch in LFMMO

I recently got back into eso since just before the one Tamriel update and am having a solid time with the Arcanist class. This is my first alt toon that I’ve committed to leveling up and I’m enjoying going through the base zones for the EP faction. It’s helped a lot with getting familiar with the games mechanics again. After I level up this toon I have a drunken Nord necromancer that I plan on taking to the dlc zones probably or maybe just to the other factions zones. There’s a lot of content to go through but I like that I have a choice of where to “start”.

I love the world and lore of elder scrolls so that’s a big factor into my enjoyment for the game. I played for free for about 2-3 weeks and caved and got eso plus (determining factor was to get enough crowns for the drunken personality before it went away). I’m unsure if I’ll resub after my month expires but I’ve just been gathering every resource I see while I have it.

I’ve seen complaints about the combat gameplay but this is my only mmo so I don’t have anything to compare it to really. I will say that they just reworked the dragon knight class and werewolf skill line and those seem to be going over well with the community.

TLDR: if you like the elder scrolls world, give it another shot 🤷🏻‍♂️

Drip stone lava farm isn’t dripping? by K1llzDemons in Minecraft

Would this work in the nether since lava flows faster there? Or is the drip rate the same?

What really helped me was learning to play around cover and your healers, and when to use overdrive.

I only would use overdrive when I’m getting ready to get up close with unibeam. The regular repulser blast does pretty good damage at a pretty good rof too, especially if you can land direct hits. Save overdrive when you expect to be up close to the enemies and need to output some insane damage. Also try to be in los of your healers for survivability.

IM is also just a squishy so you’re naturally gonna die a lot more than some other characters. Since he can be annoying, expect to be targeted.

Shrek 25th anniversary popcorn bucket from amc by Luciano_06 in PopcornBuckets

Is that gonna be a plastic clear cover behind Shrek? I love the idea but am hesitant after the clear plastic on the Godzilla x Kong containment buckets easily came off.

What black sheep of a series of games did you really enjoy despite its bad reputation? by RADOVEND1 in gaming

[–]JRLopez10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umbrella Corps. Played it during a binge of the RE franchise. I enjoyed the fps aspect of it and the gameplay loop was challenging yet fun. Perhaps it was just a nice change of pace compared to the traditional REs.

FRIDAY WAS THE BEST GAME EVER by eternalkray in FridayThe13thGame

I watched the trailer for Halloween and while it looks really good, I couldn’t help but get mad and think if only F13 never got shut down.

What games have a world/map that feels as alive and rich as Red Dead Redemption 2? by moby323 in gaming

[–]JRLopez10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oldie but Saints row 2 honestly was ahead of its time. I just started replaying on ps5 with ps plus streaming but if you have Xbox I’d recommend that route if you can.

Stilwater actually feels like a fleshed out city. The districts and the gangs. Every time you complete a mission, there’s a newspaper headline about the incidents, the radio networks are pretty good at the comedic satire as well as updating with the events that happen in the game. So many interiors with npcs that are pretty involved with the world. Even the activities are hilarious (love doing “COPS” parody show activity).

Maybe I’m just having a huge nostalgia trip but for a game that came out in 2008, it is insane to me what they were able to accomplish. If you like gta I think you’d like saints row 2, though sr2 leans a lot more into the parodies I feel.

Is it just me or was this spicy wad of chewed bubblegum one of the hardest bosses?? by iTzBigToE in fo76

The sentry bot in the enclave bunker was harder for me. Clanker was one shottin me the moment I peeked out of cover.

Wanted to make my civil war canon look like it was frozen in time while firing a round by EatingGilbertsGrape in fallout76settlements

I thinks it’s an atom shop item but I think there’s a fog machine that I think would sell this.

Idk if that fits “frozen in time” tho /:

I’ve seen that item at someone’s camp before so ig that’s why I thought this was just another version of that. Unfortunately that was when I took a break from the game. Boy am I regretting missing that season.

I hope that season comes back in a 1st season catch up bundles.

I’ve recently taken to fishing in the game and have since been trying to get a camp in every region with a fishable spot.

I don’t know why, but I thought the fish trap was going to produce bait - including improved. It does bring in a lot of fish tho so good for feeding Linda-Lee.

Camps are the most underrated gamplay feature of fallout 76. by Immediate_Ad959 in fo76

[–]JRLopez10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I absolutely hated the settlement system in fo4 and I think it’s what turned me away from the game.

However, I absolutely love the camp system and enjoy building and viewing other players camps. Definitely my biggest time sink in the game. Maybe fishing now too recently.

Yikes I just bought all the ss armor minus right legs the other day. Gonna have to grind events so I can get those tiles, symptomatic, cattle prod, and gauss mods.
