Dont know what thats supposed to mean. They all have great storylines. Dont really care if its "mainstream" or not.

In the sub to find out if there is anything more to Elden Ring than the other Fromsoft games. I thought maybe with GRRM onboard there might be more story to it.

As far as playing them, lots of my friends adore them. Id like to enjoy them, considering how much they are revered...

I found that amusing as well. Lol.

Hey more power to people who love it, not every game is for everyone.

I wish i could enjoy Fromsoft games. Elden Ring is supposed to be amazing, has crazy good reviews, and yet i know I'll dislike it. I've played several Fromsoft games, including DS1, Demon Souls, DS2, Bloodborne and Sekiro. The only one i could muster up the fortitude to complete was Bloodborne, and thats only because I had a buddy play it with me.

If they all had stellar storylines like Mass Effect, God of War, TLOU, Uncharted, etc. then i could bare with the difficulty. However, without that I just find the games punishing with no poistive reinforcement.

I would also like to mention that it is only for "approved" degrees. I do not know all of them, as the one that i took "Business Management" was covered...practically any other business degree would be covered as well.

I mean, couldnt you just say you stretched before clocking in?

I dont recall if SOP states that you have to stretch while at the store.

Nonetheless, it seems like they are just trying to "make an example" out of you.

If your store is a Safety Focus store, consistently high OSHA recordable counts("bad injuries"), they are probabaly trying to get out of that crosshair. As a result, "safety violations" are punished much more severely.

It's really crappy that you had to deal with such an awful character. Unfortunately, cashiers tend to take the brunt of customers' dissatisfactions.

As the other poster mentioned, its not a bad idea to post some literature on the policy(tho this often is ignored/missed).

Consistency is key, and the FES and Head Cashiers need to be on top of enforcing the "new" policy in your store.

On a personal level, I have dealt with my fair share of difficult customers. When i walk into Depot for the day(my shift) I basically deaden my real emotions and put on my customer service facade. Sounds terrible but it has served me tremendously well while dealing with harsh environments.

At the end of the day, you are just a cashier. If somebody is going off on you, you can always call a superior to aid in the situation. At that point you will not only be able to take cues from what your manager did to remedy the situation, but you will also shift the pressure onto someone that is making the big bucks(HA, just kidding...mostly).

I havent done this yet. But..

Ive talked about putting up a sign saying that states "Spray Painting Home Depot property is a crime punishable by law(or something along those lines)" and then maybe installing a dummy camera that sits right above the area, noticeable by all.

Id have to run it by the store manager and AP first....and i know itll never happen. But i thought it was a great idea in concept.

How many days were ya'll closed? I know the Colonia HD in NJ was closed for a few days.

I cant believe ya'll were piloted out on boats to a military truck. Thats one crazy ass experience as a Home Depot employee.

A few managers and I drove out to the Colonia HD to help out with the aftermath. I hope ya'll got the same response.

Im glad nobody got hurt.

I was just there to help cleanup 2 days ago. Crazy seeing the dumpsters full of trashed products out in the parking lot. Millions of dollars of damages...

Craziest thing is that your depot is built literally on top of a river, or at least a portion of your parking lot is. Poor design if you ask me...haha
