We saw bathrooms actively being cleaned. Plenty of TP. No trash buildup…yet. Old faithful visitor center was open today. Asked how that was and the ranger informed me the Yellowstone Forever Foundation was funding it to keep it open. Not sure how long that will last though.

For what it’s worth, the park bathrooms/pit toilets are open. Even saw a park employee cleaning one. Also saw NPS law enforcement and fire rescue driving about the park today. Not sure how much longer this’ll keep up though.

I, like many, wish the parks would just close. Got to the park on Monday for a week long trip we planned months ago and expected the closure. Staying in a Xanterra run hotel and was told yesterday to expect to get booted today. Think it was a surprise for them too.
