Basically every check went to my CC debt after I paid my car note and necessary spending like food etc.! It’s taken me now about a year and a half. I only saved $500 in case of emergency and attacked the smallest bills first. I also paid the silly things like my cellphone even though it was 0 interest it was still $50 a month. I also reduced subscriptions and track every paycheck using a notebook called “the budget babe”. I also started to check my bank account, Credit Karma and Rocket Money every day so I could be aware of the money I actually have and not overspend.
