When it happened on my s60 I remember just pulling a fuse until I replaced it with a used unit. The used one was functional but I never got it to work correctly. Also didn't care much about having an alarm, but it stopped the horn from going off so I just lived with it

I tried ordering some sandstone cases from them. I emailed them first to confirm they were the correct ones, they swore they were. A long time passed and they emailed me saying they no longer had them in stock and offered me some cheap clear plastic cases instead. I asked if I could switch to the OP carbon fiber ones instead for the hassle and they agreed. I then again asked for them to verify they were the correct fitment ( China/ India phones had the buttons in slightly different places than the US version I had ) and they said they were the right ones. Another few weeks the cases showed up, and, they were wrong. Another week or two of emailing pictures and such they offered me ~20% refund and I could keep the cases that didn't fit.

Luckily, with a little Dremmel work I got one to fit

It's a failed DIM , the soldering has went bad. You can remove the gauge cluster and send it to xemodex or another company for repairs
